Naval fleets consist of very different types of ship, usually highly specialised, with very strict requirements, such as frigates, amphibious ships, submarines or mine hunters. KAEFER has built up experience in different countries to provide various services to naval builders.

We plan, produce, deliver and install complete insulation systems for naval vessels. Frigates, corvettes as well as submarines and logistics vessels have received optimised insulation, taking fire requirements and weight issues into consideration. Very often special products are required, and our multinational experience always allows us to offer the right solutions.

We also outfit the living areas for crew and officers, installing cabins and mess rooms. Walls, floors, ceiling panels and furniture are usually in our scope of work. By cooperating with the yard upfront, issues such as shock resistance are taken into account early enough to fulfil requirements.

Special products such as thin cold store panels for submarines are also delivered and installed by KAEFER.
